PEO®-1 by Sumitomo Seika Chemicals acts as a viscosity improver. It is non-ionic, water-soluble, high molecular weight polyethylene oxide (PEO). This grade is produced by polymerization of ethylene oxide. When dissolved, the solution shows high viscosity even at low density, making PEO an effective thickener. It provides good dispersing and coagulation properties. PEO®-1 is suitable for use in emulsion paint and coating industry. It has a shelf life of 3 months after delivery.

AL-15F by Sumitomo Seika Chemicals is a non-ionic, HEC (hydroxyethyl cellulose). It dissolves readily in both cold water and hot water. It shows stable viscosity & do not gel at either high or low temperatures. It acts as a thickener, water-retention agent, suspending & dispersing agent and as a protective colloid. AL-15F can be stored for long periods without degrading. It is recommended for water-based paints.
