It offers good long-term weatherability. The high acid value of the resin provides for cure ratios of 90/10 with TGIC and thereby imparts enhanced chemical resistance. RUCOTE® XP 9011 is suitable for powder coatings. RUCOTE® 570 by Stepan Company is a carboxyl functional polyester resin. It provides excellent gloss and DOI. It is also useful in low gloss applications. RUCOTE® 570 shelf-life is 36 months.
