LOTADER® AX8900

Terpolymer of ethylene, acrylic ester and glycidyl methacrylate polymerized under high pressure in an autoclave process. Comonomer content is high. Brings softness and polarity, while keeping high thermal stability during processing. The high content of acrylic ester leads to high flexibility (low cristallinity) and high impact absorption behavior.

It is available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion equipment designed to process polyolefin. Exhibits reliable bonding strength onto fusion bonded epoxy steel pipe protective layer. Designed for use in pipecoating technology for multi-layer structures. OREVAC® 18410 is used as a tie layer in three-layer HDPE coatings on epoxy primers, adhesives and polyethylene substrates. Shows good mechanical and adhesive performances at high temperatures.
