Coasol® 290 Plus

Coasol® 290 Plus by Seqens is a low odor, coalescing solvent. 2-Ethylhexyl Acetate (Chemoxy)

2-Ethylhexyl Acetate (Chemoxy) by Seqens is clear, low volatile 2-ethylhexyl acetate. It is a non-HAP, non-SARA, partially biodegradable non-polar solvent. It exhibits low surface tension, high boiling point and low water solubility. It is suitable as a carrier solvent for nitrocellulose and other resins that are commonly used in some lacquers, NC lacquer emulsions, screen inks and some enamels to improve flow and film formation. It is designed for use in leather industry solvent for dyeing and finishing functions. It shows coalescing action in emulsion paints. The shelf life of the product is 2 years.

Coasol®

Coasol® by Seqens is a non-HAPS, low-odor, di-isobutyl glutarate and di-isobutyl based coalescent. It is recommended for water-based architectural paints. It is used in fusion of the polymer particles to form a uniform and compact film. It offers excellent water resistance, low MFFT, improved open time, paint rheology & pigment wetting. It also provides improved film hardness, wet rub performance, color development, film integrity, durability due to drying profile. It can be incorporated easily in low shear mixing and is suitable for latex paints. Coasol® is designed for use in unsaturated polyester resins or epoxy resin systems. It can be used as a low tail solvent in coil coatings. It is classified as a non-VOC under European Directive 2004/42/CE.
