Carboxylated copolymer of vinylidene chloride and an acrylic ester. Used for water based metal primers and rust conversion coatings. Exhibits very good water vapour and gaseous barrier properties. Offers high degree of water resistance. Acrylic ester/vinylidene chloride copolymer. Used for pigment printing & back coating. Offers very good wash resistance. Aqueous emulsion of a vinylidene chloride copolymer. Used as a pigment binder in fire retardant coatings. Possesses a high VdC content. Gives soft flexible film. Provides very good water resistance. Can be used in combination with rutile titanium dioxide to minimise discolouration and to produce pigmented coatings with very good exterior durability.
