NEBORES® SP 252-70 by Safic-Alcan is an air drying, pentaerythritol esterified long oil alkyd resin based on soybean oil. It exhibits excellent pigment wetting properties. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">

Possesses weather resistance, very fast drying, excellent hardness, long-term flexibility and low viscosity. Applications include varnish, road-marking paints and highly filled coatings on mineral substrates. Special modified hydroxy functional acrylic resin. Exhibits high gloss, good filling properties. Provides resistance to weather, chemical, scratch and abrasion. Applications include varnishes, very high solid PU lacquers and high quality air- and oven-drying industrial lacquers. Pentaerythritol esterified medium oil alkyd resin based on special vegetable fatty acids. Exhibits good drying and through drying properties, even at low temperatures. Provides very good gloss and color retention at elevated temperatures or outdoor conditions. Possesses excellent adhesion on steel and primers. It is curable into tack-free and hard films at 80-90°C in 30-45 minutes. Offers good compatibility with long and medium oil alkyds. Used in varnishes. Applications include fast air drying industrial finishes, radiator, automotive and car-repair enamels. Also used in marine- and construction paints. Special modified hydroxy polyester resin. It exhibits high gloss and good filling properties. Provides high weather- and chemical-resistance. Offers good scratch and abrasion resistance. Dilutable in xylene, butanol, methyl ethyl ketone and butyl acetate. Applications include varnishes, very high solid PU lacquers and high quality air- and oven drying-industrial lacquers. Alkyd resin based on modified tung oil/linseed oil. It is aromatic-free. Exhibits good & fast air-, initial- and through drying. Provides excellent resistance to water and good adhesion on ferrous substrates. Possesses excellent overspray tolerance. Used in varnishes, anti-corrosive primers with reduced solvent discharge and primer surfacers for car-repair enamels. Short oil alkyd resin based on arachide oil. It is non drying resin. Exhibits filling power, fast drying, good elasticity and hardness. Possesses good compatibility with short oil alkyds, melamine resins and non-plasticized urea resins. Offers complete dilutability in xylene, methyl ethyl ketone and butyl acetate. Used in combination with nitrocellulose and U.F. resins. Applications include varnishes, acid curing lacquers, metal- and wood paints. Glycerol esterified medium oil alkyd resin based on soyabean/tung oil. It exhibits high viscosity. Provides very good initial drying and through hardening. Possesses very good dilutability with white spirit. Shows good compatibility with long- and medium oil alkyds. Used in air drying primers & finishes for interior and exterior use. Applications include varnishes, structural steel finishes, low cost house paints and very quick stoving enamels in combination with amino resins.
