S-Chemtech, founded in 1962 (originally as Shinheung Silicate) and headquartered in South Korea, is a specialist in inorganic chemicals and silica-based products. SS-SIL 54 by S-Chemtech is a white colored micronized silica gel. Acts as a matting agent, anti-cake agent, and moisture scavenger. Exhibits easy dispersibility, excellent scratch- & impact resistance and high flexibility. Offers excellent luster stability for a smooth surface film, good transparency and prevents hard caking by precipitation. Shows no effect on drying or intercoat adhesion and does not form haze. Used in printing inks.
