AROPLAZ® 5293-B-75 (formerly KELSOL® 5293-B-75) by Reichhold (Polynt) is a water-dispersible polyester. Exhibits excellent cure response with 20% to 30% amino crosslinkers, flexibility, impact resistance and stain & chemical resistance. Designed for conventional bake coatings. Selection of amino crosslinker and neutralization agent provides maximum film properties. Suitable for use in coatings for conventional and electrostatic spray applications, automotive parts, air conditioning, heating units, metal fixtures, recreational equipment and steel shelving. AROPLAZ® 5293-B-75 has a shelf life of one year. Linear saturated polyester for flexible melamine crosslinked baking enamels. Used in coil coating applications. Offers good flexibility with minimal post-cure (O-T initial, O-1T after 16 hours at 120 F on treated aluminum). Provides good QUV gloss retention and Xenon weatherometer gloss retention, retains color and gloss on high temperature bakes. Aroplaz® 15-267 by Reichhold (Polynt) is a saturated polyester resin. Exhibits excellent adhesion to metal, excellent roll-coating capability, and high chemical resistance. Offers excellent steamed water resistance, high abrasion resistance, and excellent diffusion coefficient. It is compatible with blocked isocyanates. Aroplaz® 15-267 is recommended for coil & can coatings. AROPLAZ® 15-173 by Reichhold (Polynt) is an alkyl modified saturated polyester resin. Exhibits excellent flexibility, high gloss, and very good hardness. Offers excellent abrasion resistance, and crosslinkability with polyurethane and melamine. AROPLAZ® 15-173 is recommended for industrial finishes for wood and metal. Aroplaz® 15-143 by Reichhold (Polynt) is melamine crosslinkable, oil-free saturated polyester resin. Exhibits good durability, excellent flexibility and excellent chemical-, yellowing- & outdoor resistance. Promotes very good gloss and hardness. Aroplaz® 15-143 is recommended for coil & can coatings and industrial finishing. Economical, high-solid, saturated polyester resin that produces films with an excellent hardness/flexibility relationship when crosslinked with an appropriate aminoplast resin. Used in small appliance enamels, metal furniture and equipment business machines. Water-dispersible, acrylic-modified polyester resin. Used in white or light-colored baking enamels and clear baking formulations. Offers good hardness with excellent flexibility, very good stain, chemical & solvent resistance and high gloss. High-solid polyester polyol. Used in VOC-compliant, chemical-resistant floor coatings and top coats. Offers high degree of crosslinking for superior resistance to chemical and solvent, very good abrasion resistance, UV stability, weatherability and gloss retention. High-solid polyester resin designed to crosslink with aminoplast resins. Used for appliance coatings and similar high-performance industrial applications. Develops good chemical, stain and detergent resistance. It shows good adhesion to clean metal surfaces including untreated cold rolled steel, provides films with good hardness and flexibility. 79% solid, low viscosity hydroxyl-terminated polyester polyol. Used in VOC-compliant aircraft hangar and transportation coatings as well as high-performance topcoats. Offers high degree of crosslinking for superior resistance to chemical and solvent, very good abrasion resistance, UV stability, weatherability and gloss retention.
