Special Black® 100 by Orion is an easily dispersed oxidized carbon black used for masstone in water-based primers. It is an after-treated, low color furnace listed in the Color Index as Black 7-77266. It is used as a tinting black with high stability to flooding and floating. Special Black® 100 is designed for UV curing coatings. Special Black® 250 by Orion is a low structured, easily dispersible, amorphous carbon black. Used in UV-cured, solvent-based coatings and printing inks. Special Black® 4 by Orion is an amorphous carbon. Designed for solvent-based flexo inks, tin printing inks UV curing printing inks and screen printing inks, copperplate printing inks, automobile and industrial coating. Special Black® 4 offers high insulating properties. Special Black® 6 by Orion is a high-color carbon black pigment. It is an easily dispersible, post-oxidized pigment. Recommended for solvent-borne automotive and high-jet industrial coatings. Special Black® 550 by Orion is an amorphous carbon. Used for sheet-fed offset printing inks. Special Black® 4 A by Orion is an amorphous carbon black. Used in solvent-based packaging printing inks and screen printing inks. Special Black® 350 by Orion is an amorphous carbon black. Used for solvent-based packaging printing inks, UV-curing printing inks and sheet-fed offset printing inks. Special Black® 5 by Orion is an amorphous carbon black. It is a medium-color gas black (MCG) type pigment. Used in solvent-borne industrial coatings applications.
