Naxcat® 326L

Toluenesulfonic acid. Acts as a catalyst. It is a high purity TSA, 65% active in water with low sulfones. It is made by sulfonating aromatic compounds with sulfuric acid, SO<sub>3</sub>, or oleum. It is designed to replace p-TSA, monohydrate in many industrial catalysis applications. It combines ease of use with the relatively low cost of liquid mixed isomer TSA solutions. It is comparable in strength to mineral acids such as sulfuric acid, but is especially suitable for organic reactions where an inorganic, mineral acid could cause charring, oxidation, or an unwanted chemical reaction.

NAXAN® PLUS ABP

Alkylated naphthalene sulfonate, sodium salt. It is an anionic surfactant. Acts as a dispersing, wetting and anti-foaming agent. It offers acid and base stability, hard-water tolerance and high temperature stability. It exhibits good wetting and provides hydrotroping and medium to low foaming. It is designed to be low in color and affords better color management in the end product. It is the dried version of Naxan®PLUS ABL.
