UV-928 (MPI)

UV-928 by MPI Chemie is benzotriazole UV absorber. It is recommended for coatings, printing and packaging. It can significantly improves the resistance of automotive OEM and industrial high-temperature baking coatings, powder coatings, overprint varnishes over metal, board, paper & laminates. For outdoor applications, UV-928 needs to be combined with a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) such as LS-123 (for acid-catalyzed systems) or LS-292 (for 2K PUR).

DCP (MPI)

DCP by MPI Chemie is a polymerization initiator, crosslinking peroxide and thermoset curing agent. It is used for (co)polymerization of styrene and synergist in flame-retardant polystyrene formulations. It is di-cumyl-peroxide. It functions via formation of hydro peroxide. DCP is used in paints and varnishes.

UV-3035

UV-3035 by MPI Chemie is a light stabilizer/UV absorber. It prevents the oxidation, chain fission, uncontrolled recombinations and cross-linking reactions that are caused by photo-oxidation. It dissipates the absorbed light energy from UV rays as heat by reversible intramolecular proton transfer. UV-3035 reduces the absorption of UV rays by the polymer matrix and hence reduces the rate of weathering.
