HEXAFOR™ 678

HEXAFOR™ 678 by Maflon is ethoxylated non-ionic fluorsurfactant. It can be used as an emulsifying agent. It reduces orange peel effect and surface tension at very low concentrations. It is based on short-chain molecule containing 6 fluorinated carbon atoms, that cannot breakdown to PFOA in the environment. It has high property in terms of dynamic surface tension, allowing the coating formulations to reach rapidly the low values of static surface tensions. It is stable in both acidic and basic conditions. HEXAFOR™ 678 is perfect for organic polymer and water-solvent based paint and coatings. The shelf life of the grade is 2 years.

HEXAFOR™ 601

HEXAFOR™ 601 by Maflon is a water-based fluorinated surfactant used as a flow and leveling agent. It is very efficient at reducing the surface tension in aqueous coating systems at very low concentration (0.005-0.1%). It shows durable treatment and high UV resistance. HEXAFOR™ 601 is suitable for floor polishes, paints and varnishes. The shelf life of the grade is 1 year.

HEXAFOR™ 641

HEXAFOR™ 641 by Maflon is a high-performance, water-soluble anionic fluorosurfactant. It is based on double short-chains containing 6 fluorinated carbon atoms, that cannot breakdown to PFOA in the environment. It reduces surface tension at very low concentrations. It improves wetting of water-based systems. In wood coatings, it helps the varnish to overcome surface contamination defects at very low concentration (0.02%). HEXAFOR™ 641 is used in paints and varnishes. The shelf life of the grade is 1 year.
