Glycol Ether PE

Glycol Ether PE by LyondellBasell is a propylene glycol (mono) ethyl ether based solvent. It is a colorless, combustible liquid with low toxicity. It has a pleasant ether-like odor, completely miscible with water and a number of organic solvents. It provides good solvency for a wide variety of resins including acrylic, epoxies, alkyds, polyesters, nitrocellulose and polyurethanes. It is a good substitute for E-series solvents particularly EM (ethylene glycol mono methyl ether) and EE (ethylene glycol ethyl ether). Blends of it can be used when replacing one of the slower evaporating E-series ethers. Glycol Ether PE is used in inks applications.
