N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP-EL), powerful, aprotic solvent. Has high solvency, low volatility, high boiling, high flash point and low vapor pressure. Liquid carries a mild amine-like odor. Shows high chemical and thermal stability, miscible with water at all temperatures. Used in electronics industry, coatings (polyamide-imide, epoxy, and polyurethane).
