Butoxy propoxy propanol. Acts as a solvent. Is a colorless liquid with a mild odor and low volatility. Has low water solubility, good coupling and demonstrates good solvency for coating resins. Shows very good coalescing performance in various resins including acrylics, styrene-acrylics and polyvinyl acetates. Also offers superior film forming characteristics. Used for interior water-based paints, agriculture, electronics, ink and textile products.
