ECØ® by Lorama is a high-solids, VOC-free, green sustainable polysaccharide resin. It is used as a humectant for manufacture of water-based and universal colorants. It is compatible with a wide range of binders and vehicles. It imparts non-drip characteristic to colorant and prevents clogging of nozzles in POS equipment. ECØ® is a cost effective, non-toxic, non-irritating grade that works synergistically with SmartTint® technology. ECØ® 100 by Lorama is a non-toxic, VOC-free polysaccharide resin derived from sustainable renewable resources. It is used as an effective binder and film former for a variety of temporary water-based coatings. It is suitable for flat to high gloss films. It creates a low viscosity solution which facilitates formulation of sprayable coatings. It shows compatibility with other additives such as surfactants, rheology modifiers and defoamers. Coatings with ECØ® 100 can be tinted with universal or water-based colorants. It is readily dissolved in water up to a concentration of 40-50% solids.
