It is a renewable raw material and no hazardous air pollutants, ozone depleting chemicals available in clear liquid form. It can be used as a replacement for butyl glycol. AstroBio™ DS is a 100% biodegradable biosolvents-based blend by Liberty Chemical. It offers better cleaning power and reduced solvent consumption vs. dibasic ester. It provides strong solvency power, environment protection and outstanding flow-down performances. AstroBio™ DS is 20% to 30% more efficient than conventional oil-based solvents. It is a cost effective renewable raw material. It can be used as a replacement of dibasic esters. Recommended for coating applications.
