Purox® S Grains Sodium Benzoate by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a corrosion inhibitor. It can effectively inhibit corrosion and flash rust in waterborne systems at low concentrations. It may also reduce fouling by reducing the tendency of rust and scale to dislodge from corroded surfaces and does not cause foaming in these applications. Purox® S Grains Sodium Benzoate is recommended for paints and coatings. Purox® B Flakes Benzoic Acid by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a corrosion inhibitor & chain terminator. It is a key raw material in the production of alkyd resins. It can control viscosity and can enhance desirable characteristics in the final coating film. It offers gloss, adhesion, hardness, and chemical- & alkaline resistance.
