KATHON™ LX 150 by LANXESS is an in-can preservative. It is composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one. KATHON™ LX 150 offers broad spectrum activity. KATHON™ LXE by LANXESS is a chloromethylisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone. Possesses broad spectrum of activity. KATHON™ LXE is used in paints and inks. KATHON™ LX 1400 by LANXESS is 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one. Used in latex emulsions.
