Dowicide™ A by LANXESS is a Sodium salt o-phenylphenate. Used as an antimicrobial for shelf preservation of dextrin-based watercolor printing inks. It offers broad-spectrum activity, watersolubility, heat and pH stability. Dowicide™ A is recommended for paints and coatings, latex, inks and mineral slurries. Dowicide™ 25L Antimicrobial by LANXESS is a ready-to-use 25% aqueous solution of sodium orthophenylphenate. Is a formaldehyde-free, readily biodegradable, fast-acting, broad spectrum bactericide and fungicide. Offers very good thermal stability. Used for preservation of decomposable raw material solutions or dispersions during paint manufacturing or storage, and for shelf preservation of water-based paints. Dowicide™ 25L Antimicrobial offers high efficiency in high alkaline pH applications.
