MIREFLAM® (Coating ingredients)

Mitsui Chemicals' FORTIMO™ is a cycloaliphatic diisocyanate 1,4-H6XDI with a compact and highly symmetrical structure that forms a well-organized hard segment phase by reaction with a chain extender, such as 1,4-butandiol. Polyurethanes based on FORTIMO™ 1,4-H6XDI exhibit elasticity, heat resistance, and light stability:

  • Thermosetting polyurethane (TSU) shows improved flexural fatigue properties with good stability of the prepolymer.
  • Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) shows superior-excellent resilience, compression set and shorter de-mold time at injection molding.
