Black Pearl KT-6993 by Kolortek is a mixture of mica (68.0 –72.0%), titanium dioxide (26.0 –30.0%) and iron oxide (0-1%). It is a pearlescent pigment. It is produced by directly depositing light absorbing material to form the pigment. Silver light can be seen from the reflection angle and the absorbing colors can be viewed from side/dispersion angles. Black Pearl KT-6993 is used in coatings.
