KANEKA GEMLAC™ W3171F by Kaneka is an acryl silicone emulsion designed for 2K topcoat. It provides weather resistance, superior self-cleaning effect in combination with hardener QD317. It is anionic/nonionic stabilized and offers extended durability, surface hardness and exceptional luster. The coating film can be applied to highly elastic substrates. KANEKA GEMLAC™ W3171F is recommended in broad range of applications, including automobiles and exterior building supplies. KANEKA GEMLAC™ MU1501 by Kaneka is a polysiloxane polymer designed for 2K UV-curable topcoat. It can be used with a photo-cationic initiator, a hard coat film can be formed after UV irradiation. KANEKA GEMLAC™ MU1501 offers high scratch resistance and chemical resistance to coating film. KANEKA GEMLAC™ IP by Kaneka is a thermosetting resin for color coat with scratch and chemical resistance. It enables coating film performance equivalent to UV paint in a thermosetting system. It can reduce the carbon dioxide emission by shortening the coating process time or lowering the curing temperature. KANEKA GEMLAC™ IP offers low viscosity, long pot life, good colorability, and is suitable for one-coat application.
