Butyl acrylate. Has good water resistance, low temperature flexibility as well as an excellent weathering and sunlight resistance. Used in the production of homopolymers and co-polymers such as acrylic acid and its salts, esters, amides, methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleates, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, styrene, butadiene as well as unsaturated polyesters. Used in latex paint formulations.
