Zinc Pyrion™ by Janssen PMP is bis(2-pyridyithio-1-oxide) zinc. It is a dry-film preservative that acts against moulds, yeast, bacteria and algae. Zinc Pyrion™ protects coatings against mould and algal growth in both indoor as well as outdoor applications. The bactericidal activity may reduce the need for in-can preservatives.
