Flufenoxuron. Is an acylurea insecticide which acts as insect growth regulator (IGR). Inhibits the production of the chitin exoskeleton
- or "skin" of the insect - during the developing stages and as an adult.
Has been found to be extremely active against all wood borers when formulated in wood preservatives. Used in DIY, professional and industrial coatings.
