Medium viscosity difunctional aromatic epoxy resin. Has a higher viscosity than 2120 and other commercial RDGE resins which enables it to be used in higher concentrations or even as a single resin system. Possesses fast curing with most hardeners, high cross link density and compression strength. Imparts excellent chemical resistance to acids (including concentrated sulfuric), caustics and solvents (including MeCl2).
HAR 2120 by Hydrite Advanced Resins is difunctional resorcinol diglycidyl ether. It is of very low viscosity. Possesses fast curing with most hardeners, high cross link density, superior hardness and compression strength. HAR 2120 imparts excellent chemical resistance to acids (including concentrated sulphuric), caustics and solvents (including MeCl<sub>2</sub>). Improves thermal stability. Used in the production of corrosion resistant coatings.
