It is used for tough, chemical-resistant thermoset coating applications that cure at room temperature. Exhibits excellent resistance properties and adhesion. Versamid® 125 and epoxy resin systems are generally harder and cure more rapidly than Versamid® 140 systems. It is often blended with Versamid® G 250 US, a fatty amidoamine resin, to provide a range of viscosities, cure speeds and resistance properties. It is used in maintenance coating applications, primers, enamel paint formulations. It has a shelf life of two years.

Versamid® 115

by Huntsman

Versamid® 115 by Huntsman is a solvent-free, high viscosity, reactive polyamide resin designed for thermoset coating applications that cure at room temperature. It is based on dimerized fatty acids and polyamines. This epoxy curing agent exhibits good flexibility, adhesion properties and corrosion resistance. It provides long pot life with short tack-free times. It is more solvent and chemical resistant than Versamid® 100 systems and generally dries faster than Versamid® 125 systems. Market applications of Versamid® 115 include maintenance coating applications, primers, and enamel paint formulations.

Versamid® 140

by Huntsman

Versamid® 140 by Huntsman is a medium to low viscosity, reactive polyamide-based resin solution designed to cure solid or liquid epoxy resins. It forms tough, chemical-resistant thermoset coatings that cure at room temperature. It is based on dimerized fatty acids and polyamines. It has a combination of hardness and flexibility with high chemical and solvent resistance. Versamid® 140 and epoxy resin coating systems are more chemical and solvent resistant than Versamid® 115 systems and generally lower in viscosity than Versamid® 125 systems. Market applications include maintenance coating applications, primers and high solids enamel paint formulations. It has a shelf life of two years.

Versamid® F-11

by Huntsman

Versamid® F-11 by Huntsman is a medium viscosity, modified aliphatic amine with excellent low-temperature cure capabilities. It acts as an epoxy curing agent and accelerator. It exhibits good chemical & corrosion resistance, low odor and excellent resistance to film bloom and blush at high humidity. It eliminates drastic color changes associated with phenol catalyzed systems. Versamid® F-11 is recommended for industrial, marine and maintenance coatings. It has a shelf life of 2 years.

Versamid® 150

by Huntsman

Versamid® 150 by Huntsman is a low viscosity, reactive polyamide resin. It is designed for use with solid or liquid epoxy resins to provide tough, chemical resistance to thermoset coating applications that cure at room temperature. It exhibits chemical- & solvent resistance, flexural strength and compressive strength properties. Versamid® 150 offers a faster cure rate and slightly less flexibility than Versamid® 140 systems. Recommended for applications such as industrial maintenance surface coating and primers applications.

Versamid® 100

by Huntsman

Versamid® 100 by Huntsman is a semi-solid, reactive polyamide resin based on dimerized fatty acid and polyamines. It is an epoxy curing agent for thermoset coating applications. It provides long pot life with short tack-free times. It can be used with solid or liquid epoxy resins. Exhibits fast cure and good chemical resistance. Formulations based on Versamid® 100 and epoxy resin system cure less quickly than Versamid® 115 systems and exhibit lower chemical and solvent resistance than Versamid® 125 coating systems. It is applicable in maintenance coating applications, primers, and enamel paint formulations.

Versamid® 100 T-60

by Huntsman

Versamid® 100 T-60 by Huntsman is a toluene solution of a semi-solid, reactive polyamide resin. It is designed for solid or liquid epoxy resins for room temperature cure thermoset coating applications. It provides long pot life and short tack-free formulations. Formulations based on this resin system cure less quickly than Versamid® 115 systems and exhibit somewhat lower chemical and solvent resistance than Versamid® 125 coating systems. Versamid® 100 T-60 is suitable for maintenance coating applications, primers and enamel paint formulations. Recommended dosage level is 167 phr with 525 EEW solid epoxy. The shelf life of the grade is 12 months.
