It is designed to be a low amine hydrogen equivalent weight polyetherdiamine with slow curing speed. Jeffamine® D-205 Amine is recommended for applications where low viscosity, low exotherm and longer pot life are required. It is suitable for reaction with epoxy resins, isocyanates and carboxylic acids. It is designed for use in coatings. The shelf life of the product is 2 years. Jeffamine® ED-2003 Amine by Huntsman acts as a anti-static agent and curing agent for epoxy resins. It is polyether diamine based predominantly on a PEG backbone.
