CAPCURE® 3830-81 by Huntsman amine-catalyzed epoxy curing mercaptan agent for quick sets at room temperature. It can be used as the single curing agent, or as an accelerator for amine or amide chemistries. In addition to low toxicity, CAPCURE® 3830-81 has an exceptional low-temperature cure capability and accelerated cure times of 3-5 minutes. CAPCURE® 3830-81 is suitable for protective coatings. The shelf life is 24 months. CAPCURE® 3-800 by Huntsman is a mercaptan-terminated polymer. It acts as an epoxy curing agent and provides a rapid cure at low temperatures in thin films. It offers low toxicity and excellent color. It can also be used in combination with selected amines. CAPCURE® 3-800 is recommended for coatings applications. It complies with TSCA, DSL, PICCS, AICS, ENCS/MITI, IECSC and EINECS (EU) regulations. It has a shelf life of 24 months. CAPCURE® 40 SEC HV by Huntsman is a mercaptan-based epoxy hardener that provides gel times of 40 seconds with a standard bisphenol A epoxy resin mixed at a 1:1 ratio under ambient conditions. It improves bonds between glass and metal, especially brass and bronze. It can be used as a catalyst or co-curing material, where it will impart properties typical of mercaptans while offering improved adhesion. CAPCURE® 40 SEC HV is suitable for NSF potable water coatings. The shelf life is 24 months.
