Surfynol® 2502 by Evonik acts as an acetylenic-based surfactant. Used in wood coatings and packaging inks. Exhibits improved printability and minimum print defects. Offers no negative effect on water resistance. Surfynol® 2502 provides high water solubility. SURFYNOL® 485 by Evonik is nonionic surfactant. Used in waterborne industrial coatings, internal can coatings, paper coatings and printing inks. Enhances flow and leveling. Provides coverage over low-energy and/or contaminated substrates. Possesses rapid penetration of absorbent substrates. SURFYNOL® 485 prevents smut formation in metalworking lubricants. SURFYNOL® SE by Evonik is a nonionic defoaming surfactant which can act as a highly effective wetting agent, defoamer and viscosity stabilizer and often performs more than one of these functions in combination. SURFYNOL® SE forms a stable emulsion in water at concentrations up to 75% by volume. Surfynol® 107L by Evonik is a low-viscosity surfactant. It acts as a substratre wetting, defoamer and coalescing aid. It knock-down foaming and defect-free foam control. It reduces minimum film-forming temperature (MFFT) and aids coalescence. It possesses anti-crater effect and flow promotion. It reduces static surface tension and dynamic surface tension. It is suitable for waterborne, solvent borne, pigmented coatings and clear coatings. Surfynol® 107L is used in general industrial coatings, car OEM coatings, wood coatings and printing inks. Recommended addition level is 0.1-1%. SURFYNOL® SE-F by Evonik is nonionic self-emulsifiable surfactant. Used in printing inks. Offers very good antifoaming properties. SURFYNOL® DF-220 by Evonik is a defoamer. It is a 100% active organic defoamer that does not contain silicone, silica or APE, provides not only high initial efficacy at high sheer conditions, but also long term sustained defoaming. This defoaming agent is a new mineral oil-based defoamer with novel wax actives, ideally suited for architectural and medium to high PVC systems. SURFYNOL® DF-220 exhibits a clear, low viscosity liquid that has been specifically designed to be used in a variety of water-based formulations, including printing inks and coatings. The recommended storage temperature is between 20-30°C. Surfynol® AD01 by Evonik is a substrate wetting agent for water-borne, radiation-curing and solvent-borne systems. It offers properties like defoaming, anti-crater effect and flow promotion. It minimizes the static and dynamic surface tension. Surfynol® AD01 shows reduction of MFFT for low-VOC formations. It is suitable for printing inks, and architectural-, wood- and automotive OEM coatings. It is also used in pigmented- and clear coatings. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% on total formulation. Surfynol® DF-110 BC by Evonik is a compatible molecular defoamer based on gemini surfactant technology. It shows effectiveness against macro- and micro-foam. It provides additional dynamic wetting properties. Surfynol® DF-110 BC is used in water-borne systems. It is applicable in printing inks, automotive OEM- and general industrial coatings. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% on total formulation. Surfynol® PSA 336 by Evonik is a wetting agent for water-borne systems. It offers defoaming, anti-crater effect and flow promotion. It reduces the static and dynamic surface tension. Surfynol® PSA 336 is applicable in printing inks, wood and plastic coatings. It is used in clear- and pigmented coatings. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% on total formulation. It is a 100% active, solvent-free, nonsilicone, liquid defoamer based on Gemini surfactant technology. Provides a combination of foam control and dynamic wetting, with the potential to reduce overall additive levels, while minimizing surface defects. Used alone or in combination with other Surfynol wetting agents, Surfynol MD-20 is exceptionally effective at eliminating micro foam and other foam related defects in waterborne systems when used as a foam control agent. Eliminates microfoam and has wide compounding latitude. Used in automotive coatings, OEM and DIY wood coatings, industrial maintenance, metal, paper and architectural coatings as well as printing inks, overprint varnishes and fountain solutions.
