Diketopyrrolo pyrrole. Acts as an organic pigment. It possesses properties of high light fastness, high hiding power, excellent heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance and transference resistance. It is also known as cromophtal DPP red FP. Bis-(p-chrolophenyl)-1.4-diketopyrrolo(3.4-c)pyrrole. Acts as a high-grade heterocyclic organic pigment. Possesses excellent heat resistance, good light permanency, weather resistance, solvent, acid and alkali resistance as well as has no migration property. Mainly used in automobile painting, coating, advanced printing ink.
