Possesses good solvency, low pour point, low odor and excellent color. HyPrene L2000 is insoluble in water. It contains 3% polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAC) by method IP346 and passes Modified Ames Assay by ASTM E 1687 at 1%.
HyPrene 100 by Ergon is a hydrotreated naphthenic process oil. It is insoluble in water. Suitable for coatings industry. It has a low pour point, low odor, good solvency and excellent color. Shows resistance to discoloration by heat or ultraviolet light. HyPrene 100 complies with FDA 21 CFR 178.3620 (C) regulation. It contains 3% polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAC) by method IP346 and passes Modified Ames Assay by ASTM E 1687 at 1%.
