Elvamide® 8061

Elvamide® 8061 by DuPont is a thermoplastic nylon resin. Used in adhesives. Possesses good solubility, low melt-processing temperatures and ability to cross-link with thermosetting resins.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Can be used singly or in a combination with plasticizer, epoxy, phenolic or other resins, heat-sensitive pigments and substrates.</li> <li>Can be melt compounded for extrusion into film adhesives for heat reactivation.</li> <li>Offers abrasion, alkali and impact resistance, resistance to most oils, solvents and gasoline, pigment dispersing ability, high melting point, high tensile strength, natural lubricity, toughness at high and low temperatures, antioxidant ability and flexibility.</li> <li>Elvamide® 8061 gives good adhesion to metal laminates of similar or different metals.</li></ul>
