Tamol™
Coating ingredients supplied by Dow
Tamol™ by Dow is a family of dispersants that includes both the polyacid homopolymer and polyacid copolymer types. The homopolymer dispersants are made by polymerizing acrylic, methacrylic, crotonic, or maleic acids together, and are best paired with ASE, HASE, and cellulose ether rheology modifiers. Polyacid copolymer dispersants are a combination of hydrophilic or hydrophobic comonomers recommended with HASE/HEUR rheology modifier packages.
Key features of Tamol™ series include:
- Ultra-low VOC and easy to pour
- Dispersant efficiency and gloss potential
- Water and stain resistance
- ZnO stability
