Diisobutyl Carbinol by Dow is a 2,6-Dimethyl-4-heptanol. Acts as a high boiling, slow-evaporating, non-HAP solvent for printing inks and lacquers. It offers low surface tension and sweet odor. Diisobutyl Carbinol shows miscibility with most organic solvents but very slight miscibility with water.
