Irgastab®, developed by BASF, comprises a range of thermal and processing stabilizers as well as nucleating agents for plastic applications. These additives provide long-term durability and help to maintain the integrity of polymer properties during processing. When used as nucleating agents, they increase crystallization temperature and improves the mechanical properties.

Irgastab® additives are advanced stabilization solutions for polymers suitable for use in specific and drastic conditions. They also help to maximize polymer properties retention, enable weight reduction for finished plastic parts and are optimized to avoid discoloration phenomena.
