DayGlo® A-21 Corona Magenta Pigment by DayGlo Color is a thermoplastic fluorescent pigment which is recommended for a wide range of applications where resistance to strong solvents is not needed. It performs well in a system based on aliphatic and some aromatic hydrocarbons. It is also usable in water systems where prolonged shelf-life is not required. Used in such applications as vinyl plastisols, organisols and plastics with melt temperatures less than 380°F (193°C). The higher the pigment concentration, the better the lightfastness. The lightfastness of fluorescent pigment can be influenced by plasticizers, stabilizers, and other additives. DayGlo® A-21 Corona Magenta Pigment is used in such applications as paper coatings, A-type gravure inks, paints and screen inks. DayGlo® T-13 Rocket Red by DayGlo Color is thermoplastic fluorescent pigment. Being organic in nature, this pigment is, in most cases, easily wet out and dispersed in solvent-based vehicles or liquid resins by intensive stirring (Cowles Dissolver). It is insoluble in a greater number of solvents than are DayGlo A/AX/2500/3500-Thermoplastic Pigments. DayGlo® T-13 Rocket Red is designed to be used in formulations and coatings where strong solvents are used and where softening by heat as well as pressure may be a problem. Used in various coatings or inks made with nitrocellulose, polyvinyl chloride-acetate, polyamide, acrylic, chlorinated rubber and other resins which require strong oxygenated types of solvents such as aromatics, alcohols, esters or ketones. Combinations of these solvents should be evaluated before use. Suitable for paper coating applications, either solvent or water latex based. DayGlo® T-18N Signal Green by DayGlo Color is thermoplastic fluorescent pigment. DayGlo® T-18N Signal Green is designed to be used in formulations and coatings where strong solvents are used and where softening by heat as well as pressure may be a problem.
