Crosslinker CX-300 by Covestro is a water dilutable, activated, multi-functional poly carbodiimide. It acts as a crosslinking agent. Addition of 3-12% to water-based carboxyl functional polymers produces a marked improvement in water-, chemical- and humidity resistance and enhances (wet) adhesion to specific substrates. It is room temperature reactive and therefore can be used under ambient and forced drying conditions. Recommended for water-based coatings, lacquers, paints and inks. Crosslinker CX-300 has a shelf life of 12 months.
