Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC) by Chemceed is dimethyl carbonate grade. It is a colorless, VOC-exempt solvent suitable for use in coatings. It has substantial polar nature and moderate H-bonding strength. It has a fast evaporation rate, similar to MEK and toluene. Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC) is used in acrylics, urethane and alkyd systems. It also has low toxicity and is partially soluble in water.
