CB 180 VT DD by Carlfors Bruk is aluminium flake powder. In water gels the addition of flake powder not only increases the energy but also the sensitivity. It is used in inks, coatings and explosives. A thin coating of aluminium powder inside the initiation tube is applied and the firing impulse is similar to a dust explosion. CB 180 VT DD has a shelf life of 24 months. CB 60 SI by Carlfors Bruk is silica encapsulated surface treated aluminium flake powder. It is a metallic pigment. The silica coating provides superior spraying characteristics in either tribo or corona powder coat systems providing superior charge separation help eliminate problems such as picture framing as well as enhancing the chemical resistance of the metallic appearance. It can be either bonded or dry blended with the powder coat system. CB 60 SI has a shelf life of 12 months. CB 180S 65 by Carlfors Bruk is leafing aluminium paste. It is used in roof coatings, decorative paints, general industrial coatings, marine and maintenance coatings. Its non-wetting characteristics tend to align the flakes at the surface of the coating film and create a bright silver finish. CB 180S 65 shelf life is 12 months from delivery date. CB 400 MO 60 by Carlfors Bruk is leafing aluminium paste in mineral oil solvent. CB 400 MO 60 is used in printing inks. Its shelf life is 12 months. CB 200S MO 60 by Carlfors Bruk is leafing aluminium paste in mineral oil solvent. CB 200S MO 60 is used in printing inks. Its shelf life is 12 months. It can be supplied in various carriers depending on end use and can also be made with suitable solvent for food contact approval if required. It can be mixed in any solventborne vehicle like offset oil, plasticizer, diols, esters or alcohols. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
