It is a high brightness, fine particle size calcined kaolin that is an excellent extender of TiO<sub>2</sub> in coatings. It exhibits reduction of prime pigment while maintaining opacity, whiteness, and tint strength of coatings. Also used in polishes. Burgess NO. 50® complies with FDA 21 CFR 73, 82, 175, 176, 177, 178, 186, 310, 335, 346, 347 and 872, AICS, China Inventory, DSL (Canada), ECL (Korea), EINECS (Europe), ENCS (Japan), PICCS (Philippines) and NZIoC.

Burgess ICECAP K®

Burgess ICECAP K® by Burgess Pigment acts as a filler. The low screen residue, due to the removal of agglomerates, makes it a leader in the field of calcined kaolins. Has good electricals, low compression set and low water absorption. Used in coatings where a high hegman grind is required.
