F46 by Boud Minerals is brown aluminum oxide. It is a hard, very tight graded angular mineral for use in anti-slip and abrasive systems. It exhibits a very low oil absorbency to create a good physical key between the particle and binder. Provides protection against extreme weathering corrosion, increase in viscosity and wear properties. Possesses no dust and impurities. F46 is used for anti-slip flooring applications where the minerals do not have to be transparent or light colored. Applications include paints and coatings.
