Borchi® OXY-Coat by Borchers (Milliken) is a high concentration, low-VOC, cobalt-free drier and metal-based catalyst. It improves drying activity, color performance, gloss and haze compared to cobalt-based driers in water- and solvent-based systems. It is suitable for high solids, composites and can be applied in multiple coats. It is based on a unique, patented and highly active iron complex.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers improved adhesion in direct to metal applications.</li>
<li>It extends the coatings season window by providing consistent curing performance in all weather conditions (hot or cold, dry or humid) for short, medium and long oil alkyd systems.</li>
<li>It provides improved stain- and chemical resistance and lower gardner color numbers and can prevent wrinkles at higher film builds.</li>
<li>It can be used in coatings for adverse weather conditions.</li>
<li>It is recommended for all solvent-based coatings containing binders or resins that dry by oxidation including vegetable oils, epoxy esters and polybutadiene.</li>
<li>Applications include wood flooring, architectural-, protective and marine coating.</li>
<li>It is APEO-free, REACH and Proposition 65 compliant.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage level of Borchi® OXY-Coat is 0.5-3%.</li></ul> Borchi® OXY-Coat 1101 by Borchers (Milliken) is a VOC- and cobalt-free curing agent and metal-based catalyst ideal for water-based alkyd coatings. It can improve drying activity, color performance, gloss and haze compared to cobalt-based driers. It is based on a unique, patented, highly active iron complex. It is suitable for all coatings with binders that dry by oxidation.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides brighter whites and lower yellow tones.</li>
<li>It offers improved adhesion in direct-to-metal applications.</li>
<li>It can be used in coatings for adverse weather conditions.</li>
<li>Applications include wood-, industrial-, and architectural coatings, as well as printing inks.</li>
<li>Borchi® OXY-Coat 1101 is APEO-free and complies with Proposition 65, REACH, environmental labels "Blue Angel" (RAL-UZ 12a) and "EU Ecolabel"(Regulation (EC) No. 66/2010, Commission Decision 2014/312/EU).</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.25-2%.</li></ul> Borchi® Gol 0011 by Borchers (Milliken) is a 100% active, modified polysiloxane flow and air release agent for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings systems. It can reduce pigment floating and provides barrier properties to the cured film.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is suitable for high-build systems and can be used in combination with Borchi® Gol E2 in epoxies for enhanced flow and deaeration.</li>
<li>It improves the surface properties of coatings and destroys air bubbles formed in the film during application.</li>
<li>Borchi® Gol 0011 can be used in conjunction with suitable moisture scavengers to reduce the formation of carbon dioxide bubbles in polyurethane coatings.</li>
<li>It is effective with all types of coating application methods.</li>
<li>It is recommended for industrial flooring-, pipe- & storage tank coatings.</li>
<li>The dosage is 0.5-3.0% of the total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder system and which property is being addressed.</li></ul> Borchi® Nox 614 by Borchers (Milliken) is a phenolic antioxidant. It also acts as an anti-skinning agent and flow promoter. It is a 40% solution of a phenolic modified resin in xylene and methoxy propanol. It is suitable for air-drying and stove-drying systems, colorless as well as pigmented coatings based on air-drying oils and alkyd resins. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It promotes through-drying, enhances the gloss and has anti-wrinkle properties. </li>
<li>Borchi® Nox 614 is fully compatible with solvent-, oil-based and high-solids paints. </li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 2-4% by weight.</li></ul> Borchi® Nox 1640 by Borchers (Milliken) is a special solvent-free anti-skinning agent for coatings and printing inks. It is easy to incorporate and can be used in various binders.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is designed for paints based on raw linseed oil, wood oil, maleic and alkyd resins.</li>
<li>It does not cause discoloration and does not adversely affect the drying time of the paint system or give rise to undesirable secondary phenomena during the drying process.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage level of Borchi® Nox 1640 is 0.2-1.5%.</li></ul> Borchi® Nox M 2 by Borchers (Milliken) is a synthetic organic anti-skinning agent for binders containing oil. It delays the onset of drying of clear lacquers without affecting through-drying. It prolongs the open time of the film, thereby preventing flow problems and blistering.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It does not cause yellowing or discoloration and exhibits no undesirable reactivity in finished paint systems.</li>
<li>It is recommended for use in air and stove-drying lacquers, pigmented paints based on drying oils, epoxy resins, alkyd resins and other refined drying oils.</li>
<li>The dosage level of Borchi® Nox M 2 is 30% for pigmented paints.</li></ul> Borchi® Nox C3 by Borchers (Milliken) is an anti-skinning agent specially designed for printing inks. It enhances the gloss and flow properties of air-drying systems. It is readily soluble and easy to incorporate. It does not cause any discoloration or affect the drying time.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It does not give rise to undesirable secondary phenomena during the drying process.</li>
<li>It is recommended for use in paints based on raw linseed oil, wood oil, maleic and alkyd resins and other comparable binders.</li>
<li>The dosage level of Borchi® Nox C3 is 0.1-0.4%, relative to the total formulation.</li></ul> Borchi® Gol LA 200 by Borchers (Milliken) is a 100% active and VOC-free defoamer, flow- and leveling agent. It is a solvent-free, polyether-modified polysiloxane additive. It is suitable for solvent-free, solvent- and water-based coating systems.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides an improvement in substrate wetting and block and scratch resistance.</li>
<li>It can quickly remove air bubbles from applied coated surfaces and avoids micro-foam formation at all production stages.</li>
<li>It can increase surface slip and promotes higher gloss and less haze in cured finishes.</li>
<li>It is designed for use in general industrial-, decorative-, automotive OEM- and automotive refinish.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage of Borchi® Gol LA 200 is 0.05-0.30% of the total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder type and which property is being addressed.</li></ul> Borchi® Gol E2 by Borchers (Milliken) is a silicone-free, flow promoter and air release agent. It helps to eliminate flow defects and craters caused by air entrapment in thick film.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is recommended for solvent-based and solvent-free paint systems.</li>
<li>The efficacy is dependent upon binder type, mixing conditions and application method used.</li>
<li>It is designed for use in single and multi-component paints.</li>
<li>The dosage level of Borchi® Gol E2 is 0.5-2.0% of the total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder system and which property is being addressed.</li></ul> Borchi® OXY-Coat 1410 by Borchers (Milliken) is a high-performance cobalt-free drier and catalyst with high concentration and low VOC. It is suitable for high solids alkyd-based coatings. It is based on a unique, patented, highly active, organometallic iron complex.<br>
