Formaldehyde SP Grade 2

Formaldehyde SP Grade 2 by Balaji Formalin is a colorless, flammable and pungent smelling preservative for paints industry. It is also used in varnishes and some lacquers mainly to inhibit bacterial and fungal growth.

Paraformaldehyde

Paraformaldehyde by Balaji Formalin is a white crystalline solid monomer in prills form. It is composed of varying molecular weight polymers of polyoxymethylene glycols. The combined water is the terminating agent for the paraformaldehyde chains. Once dissolved, it behaves like the methanol-free formaldehyde solution of the same concentration. It reacts chemically as formaldehyde at a rate determined by its rate of depolymerization under the conditions of use. It is used in coatings. It complies with REACH and CLP regulations. Paraformaldehyde has a shelf life of 12 months.
