GP® 5008 by Bakelite Synthetics is a phenol-formaldehyde, water-borne, low-VOC resin. Shows moderate water tolerance and good adhesion to a variety of substrates with excellent grain bonding. GP® 5008 is used in the manufacture of coated abrasives, sandpaper make and size coatings.
GP® 5833 by Bakelite Synthetics is a solid phenolic novolac resin. It contains low ionic impurities. Used as a curing agent for epoxy resins in coatings. GP® 5833 offers high chemicals- and heat resistance and good moisture-vapor barrier.
