REAFREE® (Coating ingredients)

REAFREE® 6846 by Arkema is a saturated carboxylated polyester. It is an ultra-low bake (ULB), 50:50 hybrid grade and acts as a sustainable alternative. Exhibits good mechanical properties, excellent performance over metal and ultra low temperature curing capability. Designed for decorative and protective interior thermosetting powder coatings on metal substrates. Provides good flow, excellent storage stability, low emission and cost saving benefits. REAFREE® 6846 is used for coating metals of dissimilar thickness and temperature sensitivity.
REAFREE® 6482 by Arkema is TMA-free, saturated carboxylated polyester. Exhibits better chemical resistance compared to 6480. REAFREE® 6482 is used in powder coatings.
REAFREE® 5707 by Arkema is TMA-free, saturated carboxylated polyester. It is superdurable and exhibits excellent exterior durability. REAFREE® 5707 by Arkema is used in powder coatings.
REAFREE® 17091 by Arkema is a saturated hydroxylated polyester for polyurethane coatings. Increases cross-linking density. Used in anti-graffiti paints and heat transfer matt paints.
REAFREE® 8585 by Arkema is TMA-free, saturated carboxylated polyester. It is an improved flow version of REAFREE® 8580 with better degassing properties. REAFREE® 8585 is used for powder coatings.
REAFREE® 4762 by Arkema is TMA-free, saturated carboxylated polyester. Exhibits good balance between high reactivity and mechanical properties. REAFREE® 4762 is used in powder coatings.
REAFREE® C4705-10 by Arkema is a catalyst in a carboxylated saturated polyester, free of trimellitic anhydride. Used for the formulation of indoor or outdoor durable and protective thermosetting powder coatings. Provides improved dispersion of the additive in the formulation. REAFREE® C4705-10 allows easy handling.
Saturated carboxylated polyester for combination with Triglycidylisocyanurate. Used for powder coatings. Offers good flow and high gloss. Provides good mechanical properties. Possesses tribochargeable and good outdoor durability.
REAFREE® 8180 by Arkema is a saturated carboxylated polyester. To be combined with REAFREE® 8300 alone or with REAFREE® 8780 for matt powder coatings by dry blending. REAFREE® 8180 by Arkema provides different glosses depending on REAFREE® 8780/8180 mixing ratios.
REAFREE® 8400 by Arkema is TMA-free saturated carboxylated polyester. Has low PRIMID® demand. Imparts good degassing properties. REAFREE® 8400 is used for powder coatings.
