APPRETAN® NTR

APPRETAN® NTR by Archroma is a break-through, water-based textile coating binder based on renewable natural ingredients. It displays excellent film forming properties and hydrophobic behavior. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It developed for applications such as tea bags, coffee filters or capsules. </li> <li>Offers good resistance to water, mild solvents, oil and fat. </li> <li>It provides an increase in dry and wet tensile strength. </li> <li>It does not contain biocides or alkylphenolethoxylates (APEO) and does not release formaldehyde. </li> <li>About one third of APPRETAN® NTR active content is based on polysaccharide, allowing a reduction in the use of fossil fuel-based resources. </li> <li>It can also be applied in combination with other crosslinkers. </li> <li>It complies with FDA 176-170, BfR XXXVI and BfR XXXVI/1, which certifies the suitability of the end-product even in conditions such as immersion in boiling water. </li></ul>

Leucophor® AFCN

Leucophor® AFCN by Archroma is a FDA-approved, disulphonated optical brightening agent (OBA). Designed for paper-based packaging and containers for food applications. Offers high whiteness and substantivity in the wet-end. Leucophor® AFCN is used in coating formulations that contain polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) or casein as a secondary binder.

PEKOFLAM® HFC

PEKOFLAM® HFC by Archroma is a powder-based, halogen-free organic phosphorous/nitrogen compound. Acts as a flame retardant. Exhibits combined properties of selected halogenated and non-halogenated solutions. Offers high flexibility and fire protection. Used in both indirect and direct skin contact applications. PEKOFLAM® HFC is designed for solvent- and water-based coatings applications to be listed with Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
