DYHARD® PIN

DYHARD® PIN by AlzChem is dicyandiamide-based curing agent & matt hardener for thermosetting epoxy resin systems used in the powder coating industry. It is an effective accelerator for high-gloss epoxy-polyester hybrid powder coatings. It possesses low shrinkage & toxicity and no vapor pressure. It offers extraordinary long latency and cost effective dosage. This additive is not corrosive, hygroscopic and skin irritant. It provides highly cross-linked networks. It enables improved coating properties such as ball impact resistance and erichsen cupping (elasticity/adhesive strength). It also leads to significant cost savings through faster curing at lower oven temperatures. In addition, DYHARD® PIN enables temperature-sensitive substrates, such as wood and plastics, to be coated with high-quality hybrid powder coatings.
