HD 725

HD 725 by Altakem Chemicals is a low VOC, novel reactive complex catalyst and reactive diluent for solvent-borne decorative alkyd enamels. Used as a crosslinker for free radical polymerization systems. It increases ultimate hardness and solid content as well as reduces viscosity. It enhances drying properties and is a door opener for undesired costly claims. Suitable for applications that rely on high humidity, low temperatures, type of pigments, shelf life and film thickness. HD 725 is recommended at a dosage level of 4-8% on resin solids (or effective at low dosage).

CHO 244 is a phthalate-free plasticizer by Altakem Chemicals. It is based on a high molecular weight diester used as a monomeric plasticizer in water-based coatings. Possesses good mechanical properties and low temperature flexibility. It increases the plasticity or fluidity of a material and controls the film-forming process of coatings based on physically drying film-forming materials. CHO 244 offers adhesion to substrate, hardness of elasticity and good appearance of dry film.
